Recompression Service in Hong Kong

　Currently, there are two recompression services centre in Hong Kong

-    The Fire Service Department provide free of charge emergency recompression service. However, recompression treatment will not be start on diver request only. (Whenever you have suspected signs or symptoms, all you can do is call at any Emergency & Accident Department of your nearby hospital. Once the on-call doctor confirms the necessary of recompression treatment, the Fire Service Communication Centre of the Fire Service Department will responsible for the arrangement from transfer to finish treatment.

-    Asia Hyperbaric Center the first and currently the only clinical Hyperbaric Medicine Treatment centre in Hong Kong. This new service incorporates a state-of-the-art hyperbaric delivery system. At the moment, the facility is configured and staffed to support most of the ambulatory elective referral. The Hyperbaric Medicine Program is a consultation service. Upon referral, the patients will undergo a comprehensive evaluation by physician-team member trained and credentialed in hyperbaric medicine. If hyperbaric oxygen therapy is considered appropriate, a treatment plan will be formulated.
