| About the Dive Site This site is near Gruff Head so can both dives can be enjoyed in the same dive day. The area is a little more sheltered from the effect of the Tolo Channel so it is possible to dive here when Gruff head is unsuitable due to the current. The site is the rocky peninsula on the eastern side of Hoi Ha Wan (Jones Cove). As with Gruff Head, it is basically the end of a rocky peninsula that juts out into the sea. Even though the area is quite difficult to get to, it is well worth the effort. There is a lot of undersea life scattered amongst the rocks and in the small rock crevices. Small sharks have been seen sleeping in the deeper crevices and the area has several large patches of live hard coral. Mild tidal currents are present in exposed areas.

| Hazards & Warnings The normal warnings for diving in Hong Kong apply to this area. This area is quite exposed so watch out for currents and swells during rough weather. There are quite a lot of gill nets in this area, including many discarded left on the bottom. This area is prone to being dynamite fished. Be very careful diving here around dawn. ¡@ ¡@ ¡@
